Purchases
Restore purchases
On iPhone or Android, sign in to the original Apple or Google Play store account, then open Crater Hop → Settings → Restore Purchases. Restoring is free. Ad-Free and each cosmetic pack are separate permanent purchases; there is no subscription or paid Moon Dust.
What does Ad-Free remove?
Ad-Free removes between-run pop-up ads. Banners remain. If pop-ups persist after restoring, contact support@buildingrome.dev with your device, approximate purchase date and RevenueCat Support ID. Never send passwords or payment-card details.
No Crater Hop account needed
Play and buy upgrades without creating an account. Restore purchases using the original Apple or Google Play store account. Purchases do not transfer between iPhone and Android. Welcome emails are optional after purchase and do not create an account.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store that took payment: Apple refund requests or Google Play refund help. Refunds affect only the purchased item involved.
Delete your Crater Hop account or data
The app no longer offers sign-in or account creation. If you previously created a Purchase Sync account, request deletion using the contact below. You can also ask us to remove your optional welcome-email address and consent. Store receipts and financial records remain; deletion does not issue a refund. Local game progress remains on your device.
You can also request account and associated personal-data deletion without reinstalling the app: email privacy@buildingrome.dev from your account email. Identify Crater Hop and include your callsign or Support ID if you have one. Do not send your password. We will verify ownership before processing and confirm what was removed; records required for financial or legal purposes may be retained.
Gameplay
How do I reset my high score?
Open Settings (gear icon) and tap Reset High Score. This only resets your local high score; your existing leaderboard entries are not affected.
How do I unlock new suits and accessories?
Free cosmetic items unlock as you reach distance and score thresholds. In 2.0, additional permanent cosmetic packs are available through the mobile Shop; pets are earned with Moon Dust. Keep playing — they pop up in Settings → Accessories / Effects pages as you earn them.
The game won't respond to taps.
Tap anywhere on the playfield to jump; hold to extend a jet thrust. If taps aren't registering, make sure no system dialog is on top, then force-quit and reopen the app.
Leaderboard
Remove my leaderboard entry
Leaderboard entries are tied to an anonymous client ID generated on first launch. To request removal, email privacy@buildingrome.dev with your callsign and approximate score so we can locate the entry.
